Didn't go as planned...

Okeh, i bought a retail copy of GTA: EFLC (the cracked version was just to see if the game works on my PC) and i encountered some SexuROM problems (SecuROM is a controversial piece of software created by people who want to stop piratery, and in a lot of cases, this piece of software creates a huge amount of problems, rangng from inability to start the game to, well, banning your online profile, and that is rare, but still quite weird). I had to remove the SecuROM problem by downloading the newest patch from Rockstar, only to find out that, daily, there are only about 20-50 players that enter and exit the multiplayer (i counted in people that just idle on the server list). But, anyways, it can be pretty much fun, because people search for good servers, and mostly when there's only one server online, it's probably half full, which can boost your entertainment. Anyways dudes, if you wanna play some GTA: EFLC, add me on Games for Windows LIVE, acc name- magvey13. Laters.

Been busy... Kind of

I installed GTA EFLC on my PC today, and it is working like a charm, but before, when i had an older Windows OS, the game would crash constantly. Anyways, this is a cracked game, i have it on a normal disc (don't sue me pls). I installed that cracked  version only to see if it works and so i could relive the campaign of TBoGT once again (i had the game on my PS3, before the console broke down)! In a few days, i'll go and buy the legit disc from the store for 20 dollars, just so i can play the multiplayer, you know, prepare for GTA V for the PC, and believe it or not, there's still hundreds and hundreds of people on that multiplayer! I'll talk you peeps tomorrow, now i got some sleeping to finish. Laters.

The infinity of movement - Sleeping Dogs

Many games struggle to show real life in environments where people (not Americans) live. Sleeping Dogs is a rare positive example, it shows the true looks of Hong Kong, it can remind of Yakuza sometimes (even though it's nonsensical to compare the two). Activision bought copyrights for a project called True Crime: Hong Kong, as they wanted to continue the, to me, anonymous franchise True Crime. After a few years in development under Activision's watch, TC: HK was left to rot, Activision wasn't really in a mood for publishing that game anymore, they didn't see potential. After a few months, the franchise is bought by Square Enix (Eidos studios, the guys behind Kane and Lynch, Just Cause 2, Tomb Raider). Square Enix pumped up the engine, the graphics, the movement, the style of the game and they also renamed the project into 'Sleeping Dogs'. Not really sure what that name means, but it sure has a metaphorical meaning.
PRESENTATION
You are Wei Shen, a police cop who, not so long ago, arrived in Hong Kong from San Francisco, after his mother had died. Desperate for cash, he turns to some of his old buddies for work. At first, the situation is calm, a guy called Dogeyes isn't so dangerous, but after a few missions, you'll get what's actually going on. One of the best things about this game is parkour. The 'hit and chase' missions are the best ones in the game, they involve mostly linear paths that you have to go through, no choices, just running after your enemy until a cutscene cuts in. It doesn't really sound interesting, but it is. Running away from the cops is extremely easy, even when you play on the hardest difficulty. The point is too ram their cars when they get to the side. That, and one more feature that was taken out of Vin Diesel's Wheelman (a game known for its attribute to bore people, but still was fun for me), action hijack. Action hijack is an ability of Wei's to jump from car to car and not fall of. It's made out of small quick time events, and if you don't press the designated button shown on your screen, you fall off. Vaulting over obstacles while aiming a gun gives you slow motion action, and it kind of reminds me of John Woo's Stranglehold (also a game from the Chinese world, created by Midway, the guys behind Wheelman). Seeing blood splatter and fly gives an awesome feeling. The choice of weapons is small, but the intense and well done fist fights make it all up into one amazing combat system.
GRAPHICS
No DX10? No game. The game looks awesome, even on the lowest settings, basically, the texture settings aren't even present, but other settings definitely are. The blood stains, the world reflections, the cars, the beauty of slow motion... Yes, it's all there, even on low settings! However, graphics cards under ATI Radeon HD4xxx most likely will not give you great experiences, even though the ones under meet the minimum system reqs. My ATI Radeon HD3600 could run the game very smoothly (30-40 FPS), but the UI was missing, so i had to skip some missions in order to get to the end, as they were impossible to finish. (Hwcking cameras, picklocking etc).
THE VERDICT
Sleeping Dogs is a combination of the best, from the best. The sandbox may be small, but it will sure give you more than 20-30 hours of fun. I give this beast a 9/10. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

Author comics competition! Fuck yes!

My apologies for not posting so much, it's probably because i played a lot of Sleeping Dogs, that I even forgot to check out what's been going on on YouTube, and i never miss that! Don't worry, a review will be coming soon. Today, while on art class, my art teacher, since she has seen my comic drawing, asked me if i wanted to participate in a competition for a comical drawing. It may not have that much sense with comic books, but the drawing style can be the same. The competition is called 'My Pierre' and the point of it is to draw something funny, but to fit it on one sheet of paper. It's not recommended for it to be in multiple images (smaller pictures) due to its score then being lowered down as it's a harder thing to accomplish, but it is possible to be the best with that technique too. I still haven't decided what i should draw, i was thinking of a meme, but then it would take me longer i guess because i'm only good with memes that have bad words in it :P. Anyways, i'll be talking to you peeps tomorrow (no comments on any of my posts, but i don't mind). Laters.

Press 'E' to blow up the world - Saint's Row: The Third

It has finally come, the third installment of one of the most famous sandbox, gang shootout, craziness game franchises, Saint's Row. I really was surprised with the second part, although its graphics weren't neat, a lot of muddy textures that made my head hurt, bad voice acting etc. but it was a darn fun experience. SRIII proves what the franchise is capable of, but also goes a bit too far when it comes to craziness.
PRESENTATION
You play, as always, as 'the Boss', a no named guy/girl with an unlimited level of creation. In SRIII, your character can be even blue, green, red, orange, even purple-blue! You start the campaign in Stillwater, Shaundi, Pierce and you are robbing a bank along with some other guy that will betray you later (SPOLIERS). The Gat style suits were a nice touch, and got your mind prepared for what would be happening in the next few hours of the 9-hour long campaign. Shaundi doesn't really look like the one from SRII, the same goes for Pierce! I don't know what Volition did there, but it certainly doesn't bring you the feeling of nostalgia. The enemies were quite easy to conquer (played on normal), so i had no trouble until i got to the part with STAG soldiers wearing hard armor that could barely be penetrated. You also get a chance to ride in SRIII's many vehicles, like hovering jets, badass helicopters, cars, tanks, APC's. Almost every mission was interesting, no yawning, just shooting, riding, watching the awesome cutscenes etc. The riding times can be quite long and annoying, but you get the hang of it. The same shops and stores are here too, the same is for the activities (with a few added of course). Steelport is about 2 times bigger than Steelwater, and is way more beautiful. In SRIII you have 3 gangs, the Morningstar (Belgians hungry for glory), Deckers (cyberpunk junkies) and the fat Mexicans (forgot their names, oops). Missions can be passed in tons of ways, so the freedom part is in your hands. If you would, for example, sprint towards somebody and press the punch button, you would perform a nice, handy move that would leave your enemies' faces stuck to the ground. No need for respect to do missions, which is cool, considering that taking activities to gain respect was kind of annoying.
GRAPHICS
Saint's Row: The Third looks dated, but better than its predecessor. You can still notice muddy textures and badly done models, but at least the city of Steelport looks awesome.
MULTIPLAYER
Same as in SRII, co-op campaign and an online matchmaking. Pretty sweet, and it's even better!
THE VERDICT
SRIII is the best Saint's Row i've played. It made me laugh a lot and it made my fingers go moisty. I give this crazy game an 9/10 because the graphics can ruin the experience, so can the random glitches. For more reviews, check out my blog. Lateeeers.

Long time, no see...

I uuuh, i haven't been posting so much because of school. I already have a math test next week, so i'll have to study, HARD! I just tried to install Saint's Row IV on my PC, and i did! Unfortunately, the game gets stuck on the black screen until you press 'Enter', then it force closes. Mpph... I'll install Fez instead, and reviews of Saint's Row The Third and Fez will be coming in soon, i hope. Laters.

This is kinda cool...

I gained about 200-250 page views in just a few days! Yeyah :). Thanks dudes, means a lot! Anyways, before i go to bed (school starting tomorrow, meeeeeh), i just wanna recommend you peeps a YouTuber (or a group of them using one channel) called TrollarchOffice. These guys are awesome, they troll people in online lobbies, they take down hackers, they HELP Infinity Ward and they also get banned a few times because of their trolling. Most of the guys from that channel have at least three 3 CoD accounts as a result of multiple bans. These guys are not like UberHaxorNova, VintageBeef, KYR SPEEDY etc. so they attract kids, these guys go against kids, and are trying to make CoD a batter game. When i say 'kids' i mean squeekers and cry babies (they can even be 20 and will still be trolled... Hell, these guys troll grown ups too, ex. kids' parents!). Now i gotta go, so you all stay cool. Freedom at its finest - Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 can be described as a Fallout with pirates, but it's most definitely better looking than Fallout. The game has a single player campaign and a co-op mode.
PRESENTATION
You play as Jason Brody, a fanatic for adventure, skydiving, tatoos, heights, skiing etc. After he and his friends land on an island, they get captured by the pirates that control that group of islands in the Western Pacific. The leader of the pirates, Vaas, takes you and your friends hostage, thus divides everyone into cages far away from each other. Jason and his older brother try to escape, but Vaas kills Jason's brother in the process and lets Jason run away, barely. In order to take control the entire area, you have to capture pirate outposts by killing everyone in that post, by either sneaking in and killing everyone after disabling the alarm or by just buying tons of ammo and rushing in like a juggernaut (mostly will end with your death). There are also a lot of collectibles (all kinds of plants, artifacts, memory cards etc.). There are a lot of upgrades, and a lot of those abilities were not presented by Ubisoft before, and they are badass! By looting dead bodies and chests (like in Assassin's Creed) you gain money and items. With money, you buy weapon upgrades and camos, with items you either craft items to help you survive or you sell them for money, which can be pretty useful, especially with the fact that every single item has a price. Your wallet, loot rucksack, weapon holsters can also be upgraded (or crafted) with animal hides and skins. After you take over an enemy outpost, you get more side missions to do (a bounty, find and retrieve, supply drop - like in Call of Juarez). As i progressed through the story, i met some very interesting characters. The game can be pretty easy sometimes because you have infinite health boosts (if you're in a firefight, find cover, press 'Q' on your keyboard and Jason will heal himself in a way that depends on how hurt you are, by a bullet, by a fall, by fire). Interesting thing is that Ubisoft has made so many hand animations that Far Cry 3 truly feels like an FPS. During the campaign you will encounter many hand animations, that are either triggered by you, or are scripted, but still look awesome. The voice acting is sweet, makes me feel like i'm reallh there! What i didn't really find great was the distance you have to travel in order to get to certain missions, that are mostly created out of a single conversation and nothing else, after that, you need to unlock a radio tower to see that part of the map.
GRAPHICS
I played this game on low settings, and it still looks marvelous! The level of detail is still high, and the textures don't look muddy at all!
MULTIPLAYER
The co-op campaign is great. It is really fun to play this sort of a thing in two players.
THE VERDICT
Far Cry 3 is outstanding, it looks amazing and it does the amazing. I give this game a 9.5. For more gaming reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

A game review tomorrow

I stumbled upon a legit copy of Far Cry 3! Hooray! I can even play it! I have to say, the game looks gorgeous on the lowest settings (my GPU is not supported, otherwise it would be on medium). I'll be reviewing it tomorrow, can't right now because it is pretty damn late. Laters bros.

Mmphh...

Sooooo, i got back from a walk on a walkway on a river near my flat, i turned on my PC, logged into Steam, and my friend starts messaging me telling me that he would like to give me a game for free. He also told me that it is an awesome indie game, and he made me think of FEZ! So, he sent the game to my inventory as a gift. I opened up the gift aaaand... I found, Day One: Garry's Motherfucking Incident. Indeed my friends, the best video game ever made, it simply shines with greatness and the beauty of the marvelous Unreal 3 engine! Anyways, i sold it for 1 dollar as probably no one would have bought it for more, and even the guy i sold it to is probably crazy. Anyways, i hope none of you peeps didn't get WarZ or Garry's Incident for Christmas. Lateeeers.

Just got back from the dermatologyst (not sure if it's spelled like that, meh)

I waited in the waiting room for 2 fucking hours! There were a lot of small kids with, either their parents that have no fucking job, or with their grandparents, and almost everyone was going over the waiting queue trying to go in first and get their medication recepies. Some grannies who were waiting for AN HOUR were complaining, while i was waiting for 2 hours! Look who dafuq is complaining. At some points, i just wanted to say: 'Bitch, i was first, stfu.'. Yes, i know that your grandchild is nervous, but IDFC, kay? We ran into the shift that lasts for about 20 minutes, and those spoilt people kept entering the infirmary like their life depends on it... Then, after two hours, the doctor called me in. 'YES, FINALLY!' literally i shouted that in their faces as they stood next to the door wing. I entered, sat, and she asked me: 'Bleh bleh bleh?', she said. 'Excuse me, what?'. 'HOW OLD ARE YOU!?' she yelled, i said 15. I wanted to punch her in that milfy face, because she just arrived at her job, she didn't even have 3 patients, and SHE YELLS at me!? At me who waited there and stood for two fucking hours!? Fuck you bitch, fuck to your face! My Gawd... What world we live in... Anyways, i'm back home, and appearently i will have to visit that bitch-ass place again... Laters.

Best movie i've seen in a while

The Wolf of Wall Street... A movie like this... Haven't seen one alike in ages, perhaps that might be the only movie to make you clap after it ends! It has a lot of booze, sex, nudity, boner material, but eh, at least it makes you laugh too, and the story is pretty much simple. 'Money doesn't buy happiness and love.', that's how i get it :P. Anyways, i highly recommend this movie, it is as great as its trailer, even better. Maybe it is a bit too long, but the story was shown with high detail, and kind of reminds me of 'Catch me if you can' with Leonardo Di Caprio as the main actor. It's late here so i gotta go. Peace out. Laters.

Will be laying off game reviews for a while.

I noticed that the game reviews i post up bring a lot of attention, but also lose attention, so i will be changing my post topics, some will be 'bout video games and tech, some will be 'bout life, art and all that fun stuff (i guess it is fun, don't get me wrong please :D). School starts in 5 days (it was the Winter holiday for this entire time if you didn't know). I'll try to upload some videos onto my YouTube, but first i will have to get Fraps and SonyVEGAS back, because the Windows Movie Maker sucks badly. The videos will probably be filmed in Gmod and CS:GO, kind of like a funtage (i'm certainly not like TheGamingLemon, but i would really like to be a YouTuber like him someday :D ). I'll be playing with some Dutch and American friends of mine, so i'll be putting a link here also. Gotta study now, before i get to setting up my filming equipment. Laters.

The wild wild West - Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

Tales of two brothers have become very popular in the last few years. Army of Two, Kane and Lynch (not brothers, but soulmates) and Call of Juarez. CoH BiB is something unexpected that will always tempt you to come back to it, because the beauty of its sense is always there, and yes, it will hunt your ass down.
PRESENTATION
The story follows Ray (the much older brother) and Thomas (the younger one). The story starts and looks like an end, but the memories of Thomas and Ray's youngest brother interfere thus taking us to the very beginning, the American Civil war, the year of 1864, the Southern army beating the Northern in a crucial battle the two main brothers were a part of. After the war, they return to their destroyed home and find their youngest brother sitting next to their dead mother. Ray promises to rebuild the house, once they are done with their biggest enemies. Throughout the story, i bonded with the main characters, i also noticed how Thomas reacts in certain situations where Ray hits a target. Depending on how many bullets you use to kill an enemy (you can play as either Thomas or Ray) the other brother gives you either a compliment or a negative attribute, but after a short time, those started to be more common and more often, so it kinda gets boring fast. While going through the campaign, you stay at some sort of sandboxes that you can explore and do missions in, they also exist there because you can gather more cash for guns and ammo that are bought in weapon shops scattered around unlinear levels. Every gun (many of them are in the game) has its own advanced version, and the versions go like this: Rusty<Silver<Gold. Rusty is marked with one star, silver with two and gold with stars.
GRAPHICS
The game still looks badass. Not that i can say much, but it is the same engine that was used for Assassin's Creed II. Even on high-end PCs you may encounter texture tearing, on objects hit by the rain especially.
MULTIPLAYER
About 5-6 game modes played on small maps with weapons that are picked up. Everyone starts with weapons that they choose and have unlocked before. It is pretty fun, but the campaign will make you play it a bit later.
THE VERDICT
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is an excellent example of a wild West focused game, it may not be better than Red Dead Redemption, but it sure is the second best wild West game ever made. I give this alabama special a 9.2 because the sounds can glicth sometimes and because the multiplayer won't keep you on that chair with a keyboard and a mouse/joypad for amlong time. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

A postapocalyptic world behind brown shaders - Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Yes, it might be a bit late for this, yes, the game may look a bit old, yes, everyone's played it, BUT i just bought it for 6 dollars, and it cannot get better than this! Square Enix, the guys behind Just Cause 2 and Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days have surprised us with a game that tells an interesting sci-fi story that can be boring at times, but still has some awesome moments.
PRESENTATION
DE:HR is a game that has a few genres in itself. First you will notice RPG elements for upgrading (upgrades use syntaxes or whatever they're called, which are gained by picking them up, solving objectives and leveling up by reaching a certain amount of gained XP), then you will notice both FPS and TPS elements as you change from cover to cover, from crouching stance to normal stance. The cover system is really good, reminds me much of Splinter Cell: Conviction whose one was one of the best ones. By moving forward, you will face hacking puzzles that aren't hard at all, just require a bit of patience when listening to the tutorial about it. It consists out of one network made out of a few PCs. The PCs are taken over (virtually) and via them you access other PCs that lead you to the core of the network. It may sometimes happen that you get lost in place, thus don't know where to go because the game has many paths, both in hallways and conversations. The campaign lasts for good 10-12 hours (12 if you grab every chance to find collectibles scattered around sandboxes that the game offers you to explore. You play as Adam Jensen, a victim of an attack started by enemy soldiers with a goal to take down Adam's firm. The firm moves to Washington DC, then heals Adam, and boom! He's back, with brown shadies! Some conversations i found boring, but you can actually upgrade Adam's conversation ability into sexual talking (only with women and girls, guys are totally unnecessary). Svery conversation has choices to choose, each with its own ending, but not really story-changing. For ex. my boss would ask me which gun i would carry with me to the mission, which sort of approach would i take (silent or loud), which way in would i take etc. The thing is, missions always end in the same way, but most of them have different ways of completing, some ways weren't even planned by the developers in the first place.
GRAPHICS
The game looks pretty even for today's standards, better than most of today's games to be more accurate. I didn't push the game on high settings and i still managed to get soft shadows, neat textures, effects, character faces etc. The game can be ran in DirectX 9 aswell as in DirectX 11, but the DirectX 10 looks don't really differ from the ones in DX 11. Overall, your PC needs any kind of a dual core processor, with 2 GB of RAM, also a GPU with 256 MB and Shader 3.0 support.
NO MULTIPLAYER

THE VERDICT
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a cheap game for a lot of guaranteed fun. I didn't really buy it over Steam because it costs 20 dollars there, instead i bought a standard copy from a video game store near me. I give this definition of sci-fi action a 9.5 because it's story mode conevrsations and topics could have been better. For more game reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

Drawing, yay... Bad image quality

I finished my studying and i drew something, because i was waiting for a game to download via Steam (i'm talking about Deus Ex: Human Revolution). My tablet camera sucks, it is muddy but i'll upload both of the pictures i took because one may look better than the other.
Nothing really special, i was just bored lol, anyways, this is how i would draw myself, along with the two main characters from my award-winning comic book. Gotta go and take a shower. Laters.

2013 COMIC KING'S VIDEO GAME AWARDS (sounds nerdy, meh)

2013 has been a magnificent year for the video game industry, but unfortunately, we lost some great publishers and developers. THQ's bankrupt hit me hard, because i really, really loved Saint's Row and Darksiders. EA isn't the worst company in the US, i'd say that for some other people. I'll be giving out the awards now!
-BEST ACTION GAME - ASSASSIN'S CREED IV: BLACK FLAG - Indeed the best AC in the franchise, my personal favourite. Ubisoft, you finally did it correctly!
-BEST LOOKING GAME - THE LAST OF US - The best looking game on the PS3 (and on the last-gen consoles overall). Naughty Dog, you are quiet, but powerful!
-BEST PLAYSTATION GAME - THE LAST OF US
-BEST XBOX GAME - Grand Theft Auto V - One of the best games ever made, but it's multiplayer was a bit too buggy, but then again, one of the most fun personal experiences.
-BEST NINTENDO GAME - ZELDA: WIND WAKER - One of the best Nintendo games ever, beautiful next-gen graphics!
-BEST SPORTS GAME - NBA 2K14 - Best basketball simulation up to date, good job 2K!
                                              -BEST OVERALL GAME 2013 -
THE     LAST     OF      US - Simply an amazing game, if you don't try it out, you will die sad.
That was all for last year's best games. For more info on tech, sports, games, consoles, check out my blog. Laters.

A little bit about my people and my country.

I live in a country that exists since 2006 (it existed before, but it entered a union of countries called Yugoslavia until it became independant in 2006). It's located in South Europe, above Greece and Macedonia. After WWII, a military general formed a union of countries that wouldn't be joining the EU nor the SSSR. His name was Josip Broz Tito. At the time of his apsolutistic rulership (apsolutistic way of leading - leading until death) people in Yugoslavia were living very well, the pay checks were high, the population was growing and there was no crisis at all. Not everyone was, actually, happy about the way of living. The moto for Yugoslavia's people was: 'Serbs, Croats and Slovenians are the same, just different languages.". Croatia and Slovenia didn't agree with that, and riots in Croatia started to be common in the early 80s, after Tito had died in true sadness. As Yugoslavian sports teams were dominating, the country was falling apart. The Croats were desperate about breaking out of socialism. A lot of leaders tried to calm the situation down, but there was no luck. Zoran Milosevic came ontop and he started his brutal regime. He killed many innocent Croats, Muslims, even his own people, Serbs! In 1992, Croatia, along with Slovenia, broke off of Yugoslavia, but the end wasn't there. The Bosnian war (it was mostly in Bosnia, partially Serbia) started in 1995. Americans sent their armed forces, along with NATO to stop the Serbs from taking back Republika Srpska (a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina that belonged to Serbia before WWII). The Croats joined NATO and they attacked the Serbs too. After the Serbs had lost the war and Milosevic had weakened down, Milosevic's political oppoenents burnt down half of the interior of Belgrade's City hall. Milosevic stepped down, got arrested, and was sent to the Hague where he died in 2005. From then till 2012, Serbia was being controlled by democracy.
In my country (i'm pretty sure you now know which country i'm talking about) people like to celebrate in many ways. The most favourited way is eating meat and drinking wine and beer with it. Almost every person has a thing called 'Slava' (Celebration) once every year. On that day, the host celebrates a name of a holy person from our past and invites friends, cousins, family and there is a big feast. Usually, at those celebrations, people eat many types of beans, salads, turkeys (many are traditional), cakes and they drink a lot. During every meal on that day, there are usually more than 5-6 people eating. We also celebrate Christmas day on January 7th. Before Christmas day, we have a Badnje night. On that night, you shouldn't be going anywhere, as it gives you bad luck if you do. Weddings are celebrated like this: the groom dresses up and goes to pick up the bride, then they go to a church where the pope 'marries' them, after that they go to the restaurant (which is usually big, depending on the number of invited people) and they set up everything for the guests. When the guests arrive, the priest 'marries' the couple again in a more familiar way to all of the Christians. Anyways guys, i hope this wasn't too boring, i gotta go now. Laters.

The definition of basketball - NBA 2K14

Remember back when NBA Live was on the very top, when Allen Iverson was scoring three pointers and Shaq was changing teams all the time, when Jordan left the Bulls to join the Wizards? Well, that time has passed and we got a new basketball developing king ontop of the hill. NBA 2K13 was in the lead production of my favourite rapper Jay-Z, and the entire project went out superbly, the thing i liked the most were the soundtracks from Jay-Z's many collegues Rihanna, Kanye West, a bit of Beyoncé, Wiz Khalifa etc. NBA 2K14 proves that it is the best basketball simulation up to date, even though the last-gen and the PC version haven't suffered from any major changes. The thing that might lower the game's sales (the last-gen version) may be Lebron's path to greatness mode, but i didn't mind it at all, probably because i'm not a hater and because it's not THAT bad.
PRESENTATION
As always, 2K games puts an intro into every NBA 2K game starting from 2K10. The intro is very cool, not as cool as the ones from the last few games, but it can stand out for a few things. After the intro, you jump right into MyPlayer creation. You create your MyPlayer in order to use him later in the game mode with, ironically, the same name. After that, it's the menus, and believe me, they look cool, but if you haven't played an NBA 2K game before this one, you will have to learn the ropes. The quick play games are the ones that happened or are about to happen in the meantime, for example, my first quick game was between Miami and New York. I went to see the soundtracks and i was amazed, the soundtracks were even better than in the last game! After that, i hopped into the game. Everything is the same, the scoreboard and all, kind reminds me of NBA 2K11 and NBA 2K12, but i didn't mind. What i noticed was that the crowd in every single game had the team's colours, so the atmosphere was great. While i was playing and scored a 3 pointer, my friend was passing by and he thought that i was watching a real NBA game, until he saw that he was wrong. As always, the ends of the quarters and timeouts are boosted by a game soundtrack in the arena. Every half time there's a halftime show sponsored by Sprint, and again the guys from 2K managed to do it so the commentators words repeat very rarely. After i was done with my first, very enjoyable, game i went to Sprite's blacktop. Here, you can create your team of available players, and play with them against another team of picked players of the same level. The court is located in a city, and everything looks badass, especially the crowd when they all cheer. Euroleague is also present for the first time in a basketball game, and it contains 14 teams from the league along with their own arenas which have been copied very well.
GRAPHICS
The next-gen version looks badass, the effects are amazing, while the curremt gen version looks the same as before. Both versions have better looking interiors of the arenas, and some players look more like themselves now, especially in the next-gen version, for example Dwyane Wade's goatie is better seen now.
MULTIPLAYER
Current-gen/PC: Same as before, with added features such as comparison in the LJ's path to greatness mode.
Next-gen: Same as in the current gen version except for LJ's path to greatness mode, the next-gen version doesn't possess that mode. Instead, there is a live playground that can host up to 100 players. There's about 20 courts in one playground, you can walk around with your own created player, join games that are being played live, watch them etc. like a role playing game at some point and it would be really good if 2K made something more like an online role playing thing, but lets leave that for later.
THE VERDICT
NBA 2K14 is the best basketball simulation up to date, it may have stayed the same, but it stayed and made us like it. I give this badass sports game a 9/10 for the current/last-gen version and a 9.5/10 for the next-gen version as it features better graphics and better and more fun things to do.
Anyways, this was a review dedicated to the 500 blog views milestone, i actually passed that hundred in just a few days, so i totally forgot about it. Thanks for the views peeps, i appreciate that, never really hoped anyone would be reading my stuff. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

Where are we at now? - The consoles

PS4, Xbox ONE and WiiU have been out for quite a while, and their sales are surprising, but not all are surprising in a good way. PS4 has sold 1 million units on its first day in the US, while the Xbox ONE sold the same amount on its first day worldwide. Keep it in mind that neither of the consoles has opened its arms to some markets, Xbox ONE still has 14 markets to start selling in (Denmark, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Singapore, India and more) while the PS4 still hasn't been released in Japan (22nd of January 2014), also known as its saving point and a guaranteed number of sales ranging from 1million to 10 million units. The statistics shown below are only for the next gen consoles (WiiU included, even though i'd say it's a last gen console). All of the following charts were not created by me, they're creations of IGN Entertaintment.
As seen above, the PS4 is in advantage, and has sold more than the WiiU in its 11 months of existence on the physical market worldwide. The Xbox ONE has had a solid lauch, and is going pretty strong, even though it doesn't seem like it, and you will soon find out why.
Yes, we all remember the lauches of the last-gen consoles, the PS3 and the Xbox 360. PS3 sold slightly more consoles in its first 6 weeks than the Xbox 360, but the difference can be evaded. The WiiU however, had a really, really strong start, compared to its current sales, and was stronger than PS3 and Xbox 360 when it comes to launch. The chart below shows sales of all the compared consoles in their first 6 weeks. Some people say that the WiiU sold more than 2 million in its first 6 weeks, but after that the sales went down, so judging by that, anything can happen to the PS4 and to the Xbox ONE.
It's hard to believe that Nintendo failed to keep up, after they had completely crushed their competetion Microsoft and SONY. Right now, the WiiU is struggling, and many gamers think that the console won't even be sold in 20 million. The PS3 was released a year after the 360, and still managed to sell the same as the 360, while Nintendo's Wii console sold much more. The PS3 would probably have sold more if it came out in the same year as the 360, because its sales were more common. The chart below shows the number of current sales for every compared console. Remember that the stats for the last gen consoles were last updated in November 2013.
So, what do these figures mean? Is SONY in the lead? Who has the most money in their pockets? Well, the PS4 and the Xbone were sold even before they came out, it's obvious that Microsoft made more consoles, and that SONY didn't make enough. Right now, these are only the sales that, indeed, mean something, but can also change very fast, the best example of that is the WiiU. GTA in a nutshell - Just Cause 2

Sandbox really became big, with brand new PC equipment on the rise and better, more improved graphics/game engines. Square Enix, the guys behind Final Fantasy, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the mediocre Kane and Lynch (one of my favourite games) brought us Just Cause 2. Just Cause 2 had, and still has, the biggest sandbox map (excluding Minecraft) ever made, even bigger than the one in Grand Theft Auto V. Already through the first few levels (and when you notice that the multiplayer option in the main menu is missing) you will notice that a lot of things are undefined, and i really couldn't find out the purpose of the story, until i went further on.
PRESENTATION
You are Rico Rodriguez, also known as 'Scorpio'. Rico's mission is to start a revolution on a group of non-volcano islands near Panama in Central America and take his terrorist organization to the top of the country. His journey will be pretty simple, undefined, stupid, with voice acting of a 6-year old child, but at the same time, it's one of the most fun campaigns ever. The mission structures are unbelievable, kind of reminds me of Vanquish where many extraordinary stuff is happening at the same time. Quite simple to say, the campaign is filled with 'gasp' moments that are brought by explosions with so many
details. Lets get back to voice acting. Besides the stupid story, the voice acting grossed me out even more. When Rico talks, his accent is like Arnold Shwarzenagger's (if i spelt it correctly). Perhaps you could even put them in an Espano-English medieval movie, they woul fit prefectly. During the campaign, you will peobably be cruising around the map a lot, even after you finish it. The map is filled with military bases and small villages (even cities) that have collectibles for Rico's upgrades. Every one of those has something worth being destroyed and collected, and by doing so, you gain percentage in those places. You have 100%, you are done with that village. The map has about 1000 villages, so it will take you more than 50 hours to finish them. There are a lot of vehicles, like jumbo-jets, military jets, APCs, lots of cars, bikes, ordinary planes, helicopters, boats.
GRAPHICS
Just Cause 2 has graphics worth mentioning. The terrain from a height looks terrific and reminds us of real life terrain. Vehicles and their crash damage is extremely detailed too, but unfortunately, i cannot say the same for the looks of the main characters. Their models look squared and you could also notice blurry textures on a lot of them, but nothing that really catches your eye.
MULTIPLAYER
Just Cause 2 had no multiplayer until the multiplayer came out in a, glitchy at first, beta. I really enjoyed participating in the beta, until it got closed. In the multiplayer, you could do everything like in the single player, but with a slight lag. Of course the game is really fun if you play it with friends, because the abilities of the grappling hook are infitious, there's nothing you cannot do.
THE VERDICT
I enjoyed playing Just Cause 2, and i also went through its long campaign a few times. Right now, you have the multiplayer mod available for download for free via Steam (considers you having the Steam store copy of JC2), so it's not that much glitchy.
I give this game a 9/10 because it is one of a kind, and is one of the most fun games i've ever played. For more game reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

Another day, another game...

Charlotte Bobcats are better than the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks, and are among the top 8 in the East conference i think, not 100% sure... Wooow, if only miracles likethat happened like that... I'm downloading some NBA 2K14 and FIFA 14 (i hate PES, it sucks really bad, although i would always play it on a PC). FIFA is way more realistic, has more teams. NBA 2K14 for PC is the same as NBA 2K13 but you have Lebron's path to greatness, and maybe a small improvement in the graphics section. My bud is coming over tomorrow, so he asked me if I could get a soccer/football game on my PC and i was fine with that, PES 14 sucks anyway. Anyways, i'm off to bed, i have to fix my clock on the blog, it's one hour late. Laters.

The battle of the graphics cards - Battlefield 4

EA was pronounced as the worst company in the US in 2013 because of their P2W (Pay to Win) policies, but it looks like they have realized where they were making a mistake. Battlefield 4, the 10th installment in the series, brings us the impossible, the imaginary, it is a game where worlds literally become reality... Ano no, it's far from ARMA. From the boring and stale campaign to the sweat drops on your seargent's face, Battlefield 4 is an unforgettable, but sometimes truly unforgivable experience that will cost you much more than just the retail box worth 50-60 dollars.
PRESENTATION
As i entered the game, i noticed the same menus as in Battlefield 3, no biggy, level loading was pretty long, because i was, after all, playing on a PS3. It took some time to load the textures on the first level, but i was ok with that even though that level was boring like the rest of the 5-6 hour long campaign. Quite frankly, i just couldn't wait for the campaign to end, even though the ending was spectacular and unexplained at the same time. The main characters are totally hateable as their attributes keep changing, basically their attributes change as the expressions on their faces (which are really common, considering that the game is powered by the Frostbite 3 engine). There were some moments that almost got me to open my mouth wider than i usually would. I liked what i saw when it comes to vehicles and weapons, but as always, EA leaves half of that content to the multiplayer and doesn't even show it in the campaign.
GRAPHICS
Battlefield 4 is, maybe, the best looking game at the moment. The team over at DICE did an amazing job when they were putting in the effects. Sweat and water drops on soldiers' faces, the smallest detailed textures on vehicle interiors and the floor, the lighting, the shadows that look as sharp as a shark's tooth etc. It just goes beyond what i had expected, even on the last-gen consoles. Of course, the game runs 60 FPS in 1080p on the PS4 and 60 FPS in 720p on the Xbox ONE, which makes almost no difference. At some moments, on the PS4, the FPS drops for 2-3 frames, which is not that bad, while it stays constant and fluid on the Xbox ONE (PS4 runs the game on a higher resolution, so it's obvious that it will at some points run slower). The difference in graphics between the current-gen and the last-gen consoles is obvious. Textures are slightly muddier on the PS3 than on the PS4, some objects are missing, such as curtains and props etc. I also encountered texture tearing on the Xbox while playing a mission on the jet carrier, and in multiplayer on bith consoles, when you demolish a building or a dam, the textures on those objects become very muddy until the building collapses, after that, they go back to the original.
MULTIPLAYER
I really had fun with the multiplayer, 64 player slots on the PC and on the current-gen consoles, 32 on the last-gen. If you bought the game firstly for your PS3/360, you can transfer your game and progress onto your PC or PS4/Xbox ONE if you want to for 9 dollars. It really does pay out, as you save a lot of money. There are a lot of maps, each specified for a certain game mode, or at least a part of it. Every map has its way of levolution. What is levolution? Levolution is described as a way to change the entire match by doing something big (e.g. destroying a dam, a building, turning the power off etc.) so there's a big feeling of dynamic battles, which is really cool. Many vehicles and weapons to choose from, many attachments etc.
THE VERDICT
Battlefield 4 is a game that promises and mostly delivers. If you ask me, the game cou.d have been put out without the campaign, as it will put down the score in many reviews. If you want to play the game and you don't have a console or a high-end gaming PC, playing Battlefield 4 will cost you much, much more than just its retail box. I give this game a 9/10 as its campaign was undefined and stupid. The last-gen console version gets an 8.5/10 because of the big amount of graphic bugs. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

Orthodox Christmas! - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

You peeps have probably wondered why i hadn't posted a Christmas post... Well, that's because i'm not Catholic, i'm Orthodox. Not that many people are Orthodox, only Russians, Bulgarians, partially Macedonians, partially Montenegrians, Serbs, parially Bosnians, Belarussians, Ukrainians. On this day, the people from the Sloven category of people celebrate Christmas by going to the church of their great holy people (if i can call them like that). Many of us go to the temple of Sv. Sava in Belgrade, Serbia because it's the biggest Orthodox church in the world. Today, i will be staying home, playing video games, studying for a bit and eating muffins that my mom made me! :) Aaaaand nooow, the Christmas special, review of one of the best games ever made, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
THE REVIEW
Naughty Dog is a studio that was formed way back, in 1997. The studio became famous for its Playstation-only franchise 'Crash'. It's one of the only developers that stayed with SONY since its establishement. Uncharted 2: Among Theieves is the second installement in the series, that brings us the brand new adventures of Nathan Drake in a terrific way. I found myself going through the entire campaign for 4-5 times (which took about 40-50 hours) and then i got onto the multiplayer.
PRESENTATION
You play as Nathan Drake, a guy hungry for money and hidden treasure. The beginning of the campaign is pretty interesting, and reminds us of some cool moments from the Hollywood filming industry. After he jumps from a train hanging from a high cliff in the Himalayes, Nathan falls into sleep, and dreams about the consequences that led him to the place where he is. He gets betrayed by a good friend of his, thus gets imprisoned in a Turkish prison, then he gets rescued by Victor Sullivan and Chloe (a brand new character). The story is, by far, the best one i have experienced yet, and it delivers such a feeling of adventure. Nathan's Indiana Jones-like moves and sayings just make me fall into the story more, so i had to go through the campaign in one try, because the twists of events were totally unseen and unexpected. When i thought that the story was over, i soon realized that the story had literally just begun as i got closer to the part with the train-hanging-from-a-cliff moment. The game offers plenty of weapons to choose from, from the painted AK-47 to the Z-27 pistol. When you win trophies, you get points that you can spend on cheats, skins, hats and guns. I spent 40-50 hours in the campaign (it lasts for 10 hours, but i did it multiple times), and i still didn't find all of the artifacts! After i was done with the campaign, not really once and for all, i jumped into the bizzare and fun multiplayer.
GRAPHICS
UC2 has graphics that are high even for today's standards. Naughty Dog put a huge amount of details into the game, lighting, objects, shaders etc. It still looks unbelievable, and it came out 5 years ago!
MULTIPLAYER
In multiplayer, there are ranks and perks. Every perk is won with experience, so are ranks. By playing the campaign and the multiplayer, you win points with which you buy skins, starting weapons, and perks if you are impatient. Matchmaking could be better, and i experienced lag and bullet glitching as i shot a gun sometimes, basically, you would hit someone 2-3 seconds after you had fired that shot, but nothing really serious. The point is, you will have a ton of fun.
THE VERDICT
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune was a blast, but Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an atomic bomb. It's a rare situation that the second installment is better than the first. I give this fantastic game a 9.8/10 as lag in multiplayer knew how to trick me sometimes and other players. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

A bit of rewind - Grand Theft Auto IV

Throughout years, Rockstar has always been finding ways to amaze us with what they can do. It's hard to believe what the studio has become and what it was 12 years ago. Race 'n' Chase was the first GTA game (before Rockstar decided to change its name into Grand Theft Auto). Grand Theft Auto IV was a long awaited game, and the wait has definitely paid out.
PRESENTATION
You play as an Eastern-European called Niko Bellic (pronounced as Belich in Serbian/Bosnian/Macedonian/Russian) who came to the US in search for the famous phrase 'the American dream'. His cousin Roman convinces him that he has a mansion in Liberty City, and that he has girls on fast dial on his cell phone. Niko arrives in Liberty City, and soon enough he realizes he has to work hard again if he wants to accomplish something. Rockstar has done an outstanding job in showing us the modern day America of 2008. People, literally, killing each other over a few diamonds (particularly, the entire story is based on a pair of diamonds worth 2 million dollars). I really started to feel with the characters as Rockstar put their characteristics together in a very neat way. Niko's world falling apart in the middle of the story made me feel like the campaign was about to end, but it soon turned out that there was much more to come. I spent about 14 hours in the campaign and much, much more in the multiplayer. I found myself using all of the weapons as i found every single one of them pretty useful in certain situations. The menus are pretty easy to navigate, and you can access a multiplayer game via your cell phone!
GRAPHICS
The brand new RAGE engine is pretty awesome, and has brought us ragdolls, shaders and beautiful graphics with it. It's a revolution that will never be forgotten.
MULTIPLAYER
After the long and exciting campaign, i simply had to try out the multiplayer... And i fell in love with it. I mostly played Free roam, a bit of team deathmatch so i could level up and get more clothes for my character (character customization is pretty much limited, you cannot really change shapes of the face etc. just the type of face). Starting weapons could be bought with money earned in Cops 'n' Robbers or TDM or DM etc.
THE VERDICT
Grand Theft Auto IV was the game of the last decade, now it's GTA V's turn to take over the king's chair its predecessor had till September 17th. I give this revolutionary project a clear 10. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

WarZ - Infestation survivor stories

In the today's video game industry, we run into many unfinished projects that catch our eye. In my opinion, EA brings us the most of those projects, such as Battlefield, SimCity, two last Medal of Honors etc. When I first saw WarZ, i thought: ' Wow, this is going to be a badass game!', but after a few months, the full game was released, no alpha or beta, just full. The game costed 25 dollars when it was released on Steam. After really bad publicity, the game was removed from Steam after the executive producer of WarZ called spawn campers 'faggots'. Yes, that is right, you've read it, now go back for a bit and read it again so you could maybe get more out of it. The developers just took the terms and conditions from League of Legends and instead of Riot games' signatures, they put in theirs. The game was brought back on Steam (somehow, i have no idea how), but guess what, it got removed again until it changed its name to Infestation Survivor Stories. At first, i had no idea that that was WarZ (and i had it in my Steam library!).
PRESENTATION
Basically, the entire game is a multiplayer. It's powered by the engine that was used in War Inc. which i liked pretty much. The game has no certain campaign, your only goal is to survive. You create your own character, you buy him items for real world cash (yes, every item is P2W - Pay to wear). After you spawn, guess what's waiting for ya? A horde of zombies! Awesome! Let's kill 'em all... NOT! You only have a flashlight and nothing else! So i started running away, and my character got exausted pretty fast. At least i got away from the zombies, but my sprint gauge was filling up way too slow... It filled up after 5 minutes, and it lasted for good 30 seconds! Really!? Then some zombies saw me from a mile away, tracked me down pretty easily and killed me (without sprint you are literally helpless). So i got back to the menu and guess what, again, I HAD TO WAIT FOR 4 HOURS FOR MY CHARACTER TO BE REVIVED! The game even asks you if you want to revive your character for 2 dollars! I was not in the mood to spend more money ON A GAME THAT I FAIRLY PAID FOR... AND GUESS WHAT, THE ITEMS I PAID MONEY FOR WERE LOST! Guess who lost his 5 dollars... At least i could create a new character and start over, but i got killed again... One more thing, there's no tutorial. Absolutely no hints whatsoever, even during the LONG LOADING SCREENS in which the backrounds are pictures of places that don't even exist in the game! Later on, as i progressed, i started to get killed by hackers that had weapons of ultimate destruction... None of them were getting banned or taken care of, because they were constantly coming into the servers i was in. One of them got me to a high place, some sort of a building, there i found a sniper. As i picked it up, I GOT BANNED PERMANENTLY! After that the executive producer called people who get those items 'pussies', so i sent a rage report, nothing happened. My friend gave me his account as he didn't want to play the game anymore. I got banned there again for killing a guy and taking all of his many items, which was obviously seen as an act of item banking. After that, i wrote a review on Steam and on Metacritic and just decided to forget about the experience.
GRAPHICS
The game looks nice... In its pre-release screenshots and its trailers! After that it just looks pale and muddy and horrific... The game is BADLY optimized, i wouldn't be surprised if it could run on a single core PC with a 256 MB graphics card, but right now, it requires a quad core processor, a 1GB graphics card and 4GB of RAM. Basically, looks like it was released in 2004.
MULTIPLAYER
Brick.
THE VERDICT
WarZ - Infestation survivor stories is one of the worst games i've ever played. I also forgot to mention that the zombies glitch through everything and are impossible to hit even in close quarters with a shotgun. I give this piece of garbage shit a 1.5 because it does have a tiny bit of fun in it. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

Yeew

I just woke up, gonna play something on my PC now, before i go to study some physics. This evening is the 'Badnje' evening in my country, also known as the night before Orthodox Christmas (since i'm Orthodox, not Catholic). Usually, you're not supposed to go anywhere on Badnje evening, but i will probably be going to my bud's place, he's gonna teach me how to mix, he's got a badass mixette. I'll try to edit some more photos, and maybe make some sophisticated ones if i get to have the time, because tomorrow is Christmas, today i need to use my time wisely so yeah. Anyways guys, i'll talk to ya'll later.

Grand Theft Auto Online

Way too many game franchises have their own 'Onlines' like Need For Speed, Final Fantasy, Star Wars, Star Trek, Elder of Scrolls, Champions etc. Rockstar has brought us its Online version of GTA (ironically called 'GTA Online'). Most of the people wouldn't call it 'Online' because it uses the map of Los Santos as a playground, but we never know what Rockstar has in mind of putting in.
PRESENTATION
October 1st, the date of release of GTA Online... Many consoles freezing and many user-created characters being deleted for no reason, but lets talk about that later, shall we? GTA Online is accessed through GTA V single player (like in GTA IV- you have a phone, use it!). At most times i would be picking Free roam as it would, probably, be the most fun thing to do. After I would get killed a few times, i would choose another gamemode. Whenever i would try to find an online race lobby, my game would get stuck on the loading screen and eventually my console would freeze, making all of my progress to get lost. Yes, that was a bumpy start for the game, but it's an online game, its servers are part of it too! A few days later, the races were fixed, and i was ready to face some more character deletions. It's actually really hard to think of giving this game a bad score as it is one of the most fun games i've ever played (maybe even the most fun). GTA Online has a campaign, which you complete to get money. Money can be earned by completing story missions and/or by robbing or mugging other players and/or robbing grocery stores, clothing stores, gas stations etc. Whenever I would die, i would respawn at the nearest hospital, but i would lose a ton of money (depends on how much money you currently have, but my fee would usually be around 5k which is stupid). Keep it in mind that all of the problems mentioned below have been fixed. Online also gives you the biggest character customization Rockstar has ever made. You can change the looks of your character by changing sex, masks, bracelets, clothes etc. which there's a ton of for each. You are able to create your own server (for free) and let your friends join. In order to make stability between people who want to kill/cause chaos and people who just want to level up and have fun (in a good way), Rockstar has inserted a thing called 'Good or bad sport'. For example, you steal a tank from the military base, or you buy it for 1000k dollars and make a rampage around the city, killing players, destroying their private vehicles (private vehicles can be customized, licenced, put into your apartment garage) you get the title 'Bad sport'. Now, that isn't only a title, it's also a brand new system to divide you from the good sports, which means, you spawn next to the other bad sports! Pretty cool, huh? Also keep it in mind that raising money can be a pain in the ass, because some things cost like 100 store robberies.
GRAPHICS
Nope, check out the GTA V review.
MULTIPLAYER
The entire expansion is a multiplayer.
THE VERDICT
We could say that GTA Online is a seperated game from GTA V, and we will. GTA Online is one of the most fun and at the same time totally free experiences ever. It may have had a rough start, but it will sure keep your attention for a really long time. I give this monster a 10/10. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

Garry's Mod

I like doing something in Bender, 3DMax etc. but creating stuff in Garry's Mod (Gmod) is something better and more fun. It's like creating something, but in first person.
PRESENTATION
After you join a multiplayer game via the simple server browser (or you create your own game, doesn't matter) you will face a world that will be hard to leave behind, but it will take you some time to realize how the game that you just bought works. At first, i was kind of sorry for buying the game, as i wasn't really realizing how the tools and props menu worked (by pressing 'Q' you open up the menu). There are only about 5-7 weapons to choose from, among which is the tool gun. The tool gun, however, has the most functions and it counts as a 500 weapons. Sounds pretty unlogical, but it's true. There are about 500 tools to choose from (even more if you have WireMod installed). After only 20 minutes, the server crashed as my PC started to go crazy. The main reason was: prop spamming. Random people join user-created servers and crash them by spawning too many props, some do it on purpose, some by accident. I realized that those situations are pretty common, as literally every server i joined at the time had crashed. I found some new gamemodes, like Trouble in Terrorist Town, PropHunt, Stop it Slender(!) etc. and those servers didn't crash at all! The best thing was that i found a few YouTubers roaming around (it was them, i was in one of their videos, not that I talked to them). Basically, the worst thing that can happen is server crashing, and remember, if you don't have at least a dual core PC, you will NOT be able to play on most of the servers, as 40-60% are overclocked and require a fast processor.
GRAPHICS
Garry's Mod came out in 2004-2005, somewhere around the time Steam was established, and many people were surprised by its beauty. Right now, i really cannot say anything about the graphics even though the game was released from beta in 2010 (later on, GMOD 13 was in beta, before it became an actual part of the entire project). Lets talk like we are in the time when Gmod saw the light of day for the first time. The graphics are awesome, plenty of models that look pretty, even user-created skins look realistic which is even cool for TODAY (2014).
MULTIPLAYER
The entire game is, basically, a huge multiplayer... You know what that means, right?
THE VERDICT
Garry's Mod is a thrilling, fun, amazing, overclocked experience that is probably the cheapest of its kind. If you have more than 8 euros (10 dollars) in your pocket, the best thing to buy, definitely, is Garry's Mod.
I give this spectacular piece of gaming history a 9.3. For more reviews, check out my blog. Laters.

3rd post in one day! Grand Theft Auto V!!!

I always get sick of comments where people express themselves in some bad ways, saying that sandbox games should have never happened, that they spoil the children of the newer generations... Well, GTA V might be the game that rule could apply to. Rockstar has always brought us bright stories, satires, looks of the modern day America. While the world still believes that in America, everyone lives nicely, with cash in their pockets, Rockstar criticizes those thoughts of the Europeans and Asians, and makes them learn something new. GTA V may be a violent game, but it sure knows how to teach a lesson by just having fun. By just entering the world of GTA V, you will start to see what Rockstar has been trying to tell us this whole time.
PRESENTATION
Michael fakes his death and leaves his friend Trevor behind (well, Trevor tries to run away, while Michael is wounded by a sniper bullet... The opposite) as Trevor ends up somewhere unknown. A bit more than 10 years after, the old needs are back again, as Michael's money stash is getting emptier and Trevor's need for killing people is never greater. Franklin joins the duo in bank robbing, drinking... Well, all in all, crazy stuff. Rockstar has done an outstanding job with showing us the real emotions and attributes of the three main pratagonists (and other characters in the game). I was really fascinated what things differ when it comes to comparing Michael, Trevor and Franklin (and no, it's not only skin colour and the looks). For instance, every one of them has their own special ability, like Franklin's slow motion power to give you the ability not to hit other cars and evade obstacles on the road. They have their own cars, like Trevor's pick up truck or Michaels bentley-look-a-like limo. Every one of them has their own life story, unique side missions and story missions etc. The campaign took me over 15 hours to finish, even by taking a cab from place to place, but the game looks really unreal (for the current-gen consoles) so you will really love to go by car. The game features many more weapons than the ones Rockstar had to offer in GTA IV. The vehicle collection is solid, probably even better than that. 3-4 types of helicopters, the ability to drive jumbo-jets, military-jets, a tank, a HUGE truck is just one part of the vehicle collection. By Rockstar, GTA V has the biggest map in the entire series (if you have wondered, Just Cause 2 has the biggest sandbox map ever made, Minecraft is excluded).
GRAPHICS
Grand Theft Auto V is simply the best looking game on the current-gen platforms. It goes beyond something that we have all expected in terms of visuals. The effects, the sky, the asphalt on the road, the waves of the ocean around Los Santos, the beautiful cars being driven along the beautiful streets of Los Santos... It may repeat in another Rockstar's game, but definitely not like this. Of course, the current-gen consoles' hardwares are pretty weak now (powerful like a 2006 high end PC), so we, indeed, have to suffer from frame rate issues from time to time, black textures and unloaded content and console freezes (my PS3 froze a few times during my first two gaming sessions of 8 hours each).
MULTIPLAYER
A standalone review for GTA V's online sequence will be posted on the blog soon.
THE VERDICT
Grand Theft Auto V is unbelievable, it stands out as one of the most beautiful video games ever made, and as one of the biggest and most sold ones to date. The charm that this game gives to us is unreplacable and makes us not even care about its graphics issues (that aren't that bad). Grand Theft Auto V is, indeed, one of the best video games ever made. 10

Call of Duty: GHOSTS

Call of Duty has been with us for 10 years now, and what a greater way to celebrate that than the new next-gen Call of Duty. Modern Warfare 2 was, and still is my favourite Call of Duty. Its campaign was long enough, and the multiplayer brought a ton of stuff that are being used the newest CoDs (killstreaks, perks, titles, emblems etc.). Every CoD after Modern Warfare 2 started to lose its charm for a bit, and hatred has been the biggest since then. Call of Duty: GHOSTS is, indeed, an awesome game, not the best installment in the series, and still doesn't get to fix the problems that first occured back in MW2/BOI.
PRESENTATION
As you start the game, through the Infinity Ward logo, you reach the menus, that are VERY similiar to the ones in, lets say, CoD MW3. The backround is nice and not muddled, but very simple and generic. As always, the game has its own campaign (which is pretty much longer than the ones we got used to), multiplayer (special part of te review below) and two separate game modes, Squads and Extinction. The point of Squads mode is similiar to Special Ops in MW3 where you play with friends against AI controlled soldiers and unlike the ones in the campaign, these ones are more intelligent. You and your team do tasks as you progress through until you reach the end. Extinction mode is something new from Infinity Ward, but it's not definitely something IW has came up with in the series. It is diefferent than Treyarch's zombies, and a bit more fun. You and your friends have to transfer certain things in order to complete the mission. Once you do it, you go on to the next mission etc. so there we realize that there's no going to infinity. The campaign is about 7-8 hours long, which is descent and better compared to BF4's campaign.
GRAPHICS
Infinity Ward promised us the best looking CoD ever. Doesn't really seem like it. The textures are muddy and unclear at a lot of moments, the objects that were used in the previous installments are still there (talk about a white steel door that was used in CoD WaW and Ghosts), the character animations are still the same, the objects look like they're from 2007 etc. On the bright side, Infinity Ward does their job on making the guns the same as Criterion on the cars for NFS, so we cannot say that the engine doesn't anything new. What i was surprised about was the fact that there really was a difference between the looks on the current-gen and last-gen consoles... With these graphics, it's painfully obvious  that IW did that on purpose so they show 'improvement'.
MULTIPLAYER
As always, every CoD game has its own multiplayer, and every single one of those is really fun. More weapons to choose from, more maps, more perks, more killstreaks, attachments etc. The titles are for 'meh's and so are the emblems, they all look like someone just used scissors to cut them, and a lot of the titles are the same as the ones in MW3 and MW2. The leveling system has been improved, 10 prestiges with up to 80 levels that go through really fast and are easy. Matchmaking can make a fuss a lot of times as the host leaves the game and then people have to wait (some wait for a few minutes and get disconnected and they lose their entire gained experience).
THE VERDICT
Call of Duty: GHOSTS has a fun and interesting campaign, AI with a medium lack of intelligence, a lot of stuff from previous CoDs and an amazingly fun multiplayer. I give the new CoD an 8. For more reviews, read more on my blog. Laters.

And now, back to sports!

I haven't watched NBA during school, but now the Winter holiday has started, so i'll grab every single opportunity to watch some games. I was creeped out when I heard that Melo will probably be traded to Lakers along with someone else for Pau Gasol and White. I dunno why would the Knicks accept the trade when they are already failing hard and their scores are bad. I don't think that Pau would actually make things any more different. The Lakers would be getting another badass into their team, but it seems as they wouldn't move from where they stand now. Howard and Nash joined the Lakers, the team barely made it to the playoffs. Now that Dwight is gone, the Lakers are just a team for rookies that would eventually go to Heat, Oklahoma or wherever else where it's better. I'll be talking to you guys soon, right now I gotta write another game review. Laters.

The first game review!

You know that feeling when you buy a game that isn't Call of Duty nor Battlefield and you ask yourself if you made THE right decision? Well, Counter Strike: Global Offensive will make you say 'Yes'. 8 years passed after CSS came out, and not that many people were satisfied with the final product. Counter Strike GO is, definitely, the best CS in the series. From starting the game, through the no-guy-with-a-valve-on-his-head intro, into the competetive matchmaking is a short way, if your PC is strong enough of course (you don't really need a strong PC).
PRESENTATION
CS GO has some bad things when It comes to it's presentation, but it's menus are fast and easily commandable. As i started my first game, i noticed new chat, new font, new sounds, voices, guns, particularly everything. Some guns changed their looks for the more realistic (Galil, UZI, M4 etc.). What i was disappoined about was the fact that M4 didn't have the option to put a silencer on it, instead the silenced M4 was brought into the game via a major update that brought in weapon skins aswell. Here's an uncommon sitch, you pay 12 dollars for a game and in order to get skins for it, you have to either pay or get lucky, there's absolutely no other way to get skins, especially knives (an average knife costs over 100 dollars). This may remind you of TF2 for example, but it's different than that... By a lot. Items in TF2 don't cost as much, while in CS GO, you hit a gold mine by unboxing a knife from a case. Believe it or not, cases costed more than the keys themselves on the Steam Community Market back when the update just came out (August-October).
GRAPHICS
So, a small rewind, shall we? First game... The guns look terrific, even on lowest settings, but the textures look pale and muddy. The thing that I loved about the new Source engine 2.0 were the details and the lighting. The sky is beautiful and very realistic. Some maps, if you would look at them in CS 1.6 and go back to CS GO, you wouldn't recognize them, for example de_nuke or de_dust. Train looks the same as in CSS, and similiar to CS 1.6, Aztec is pretty much the same too, but the level in detail is obvious. Weapons with skins like the skin BOOM for the AWP are beautiful and may sometimes take your mind off the game (that 's what happened to me at least).
MULTIPLAYER
It's something unlike CoD or BF for sure... When it comes to matchmaking and content (mods, skins, the freedom, strategy etc.). Matchmaking in CS GO is kinda slow, unlike BF where you get matched in less than 2 seconds (CoD has some slower MM). However, in CS GO there's many more ways to have fun due to the huge amount of mods, and of course competetive is really fun if you play it with friends. I have already said enough about the skins and all that.
The console version of the game is something that should have never happened (like TF2 for consoles etc.). There's absolutely no people playing the multiplayer on the console version, so you might aswell kill the bots instead or just save your 12 dollars for a great indie game or just wait for a great game to be on discount on the XboxMarket/PSStore/Steam.
THE VERDICT
I really don't care about the graphics CS GO has to offer, because i've been playing only that for the past year (i played GMOD too, but eh, it was mostly CS GO). If you don't have any friends playing CS GO, you better find them fast because the game itself isn't very fun to play alone. Basically, the only bad thing about the game is its content price, but overall a game cheaper than its predecessor (very uncommon) and it's worth every penny. I give this badass game an 8.5. One more for today...

Today I played CS GO for almost 8 hours, well, not really 8, i counted in lunch and bathroom breaks, and of course, my bud came over so we pranked some peeps (nothing bad, really). The current situation in my country with kids of age ranging from 10 to 17 is that 40-50% of those kids think of doing a homicide... I'm not so sure if I should be believing in this, buuut even 15% is a big percentage, not to mention 20%. I have some friends that seem like they sometimes think of that, i really have no idea why, but i really wouldn't even be able to understand it because I grew up in a (almost) peaceful childhood. I just wanna help my friends (there are i think three, not so sure) get over their feelings and help them realize that they're not Antigona (some boring story that thought me a lesson) so they can blame themselves for having a life. Life is the best thing that can heppen to everyone, and you should never waste it. I gotta go to bed now. Laters.

Happy New Year bros!

Yeah, the title sounds like PewDiePie said it, lol i don't even know... Anyways, 2013 was an amazing year for me, ton of new stuff, of course, it wasn't so great when it comes to school, but enjoyed it pretty damn much. I met a lot of new friends, experienced a lot of new things, started high school, witnessed GTA V's success that may only repeat when the next GTA comes out etc. 2013 wasn't all that great for a lot of people that I know, so i wish them a much better and happier 2014! Me and my family (there's 3 of us, i'm an only child, meh) invited over 13 people to celebrate New Year's Eve. It was fun and we played some games both on PC and tablet, we watched some fireworks etc. One of the best things of all was that I played CS GO for the first time after a few months, and i'm quite surprised how my skills in that game stayed the same. I gotta go now and get my breakfast, you guys stay cool for the year to come. Laters.
